2008 Race for Justice
WHERE: The event will start and finish at the beautiful Madeleine Parish, 3123 NE 24th Ave., Portland. The 5k course will take participants through the streets of Alameda viewing cottages and expansive Craftsman homes and past SALC’s Multnomah office. The kids’ fun run will circle the parish and finish at the school playground where all participating kids will get a ribbon and free gelato! WHY: Funds raised at this event directly help low-income families in Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Columbia counties receive legal representation. Your participation in this event allows children to grow up in safer environments, increases families’ financial security, and helps people become more productive members of society. AWARDS: The award ceremony will unveil the winners of the coveted traveling trophies for Best Fundraising and Largest Team. Individual awards given for top 4 fundraisers. And YES!!! Markowitz Herbold Glade & Mehlhaf will again award a hosted wine and cheese party for law firms raising the most money per attorney in the 1-5, 6-25 and 26+ categories.
