Volunteer at SALC

Volunteers at St. Andrew Legal Clinic not only get to help out their community but they get the firsthand experience of what it takes to run a non-profit legal clinic. Whether you volunteer as a receptionist or attorney at Night Clinic or you help out with one of flagship events, you will leave your service feeling fulfilled and educated.

If you are a law student curious about family law, litigation, or public interest law, inquire about joining us for a full-time or part-time clerkship. Law clerks are able to assist attorneys with every stage of a case, including appearing in court, if court-certified. The majority of clerkships take place over the summer, but students can receive course credit for externships during the semester as well. If you are a college student or in a paralegal program, you can also intern with SALC.

Our Board of Directors conducts fundraising, outreach, and planning and executing events like our annual Race for Justice and Taste for Justice. Board membership is open to attorneys and non-attorneys. Other volunteers focus on just one or both of those main events.
